Project Geologist Guyana
First Bauxite Corporation (FBX: TSX-V) is seeking a Project Geologist with 3-5 years minimum field experience after graduation to work on its advance stage bauxite projects in Guyana. First Bauxite is a well-financed company with its head-office in Vancouver, Canada and its assets in Guyana, South America. The company has two projects at feasibility study stage and an exploration joint venture with Rio Tinto Alcan.
The ideal candidate will have most of the following skills and attributes:
• Excellent qualification in geology.
• Strong geological and project management skills.
• 3-5 years minimum field exploration experience after graduation.
• Excellent field skills from supervision of drilling programs to geological mapping.
• Working knowledge of exploration software and basic GIS skills.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Field experience in tropical terrains and geological experience on bauxite/industrial minerals are a plus.
