Independent Metallurgical Operations (IMO) has provided operational and project support services to the mining industry for 10 years. Our focus is to deliver quality metallurgical solutions that are cost effective, efficient, safe and environmentally responsible.
Our client is currently looking for experienced Assay/Lab Technicians to join their successful team for an overseas contract, on a FIFO roster.
This role will be accountable for running a fire assaying facility for approximately 3 months.
Your experience will include and this role will be responsible for:
Sample weighing
Fluxing
Fusion
Cupellation
Parting
Final weighing
The successful candidate will have high levels of experience in gold, particularly with Assaying.
Your skills and abilities will include:
Good communication skills
Ability to perform repetitive work to the required standard
Safety conscious
High standard of workmanship
