As a key part of our clients long term business strategy and succession planning, this high profile role has been created that will see the newly appointed Principal Structural Engineer working closely with the incumbent Structural Engineer, learning the ropes prior to their retirement from the business. You will be introduced to all major business connections and stakeholders and given ample time to establish yourself before taking over the reins.
You will be working hands-on in technical design and design management, and will have the opportunity to expand the division in to other areas maximising the growth potential of this professional services team. Strong technical expertise is essential in this role as is a strong level of comfort in client management and development.

What we're looking for:
Bachelor Civil EngineeringMinimum 10-15 years experience in structural design solutions within Australia; strong steel experience and RPEQ (or eligibility for) essentialStrong interpersonal skills and experience or readiness to mentor a team
