Electrical HV Engineers

A world leader who teams provide reliable, efficient and environmentally friendly transmission and distribution solutions to improve network stability and make electricity available everywhere are seeking HV Design power engineers and Project sector engineers to add value to there busy engineering to construct contracts team and to be a part of there success. They would prefer that you have previous experience in the power substation, generation or similar heavy industrial power industry with a design for construction metholodgy.
As an experienced HV Electrical engineer, you will play a key role within a results-focused multi disipline design team, while reporting to the Engineering Manager. This role has a broad scope, requires knowledge and experience in lectrcial design or construction activities, with 10-20 years expereince in designing high voltage transmission substations.
You will need to lead in the provision of cost estimates including involvement in project risk analysis meetings with customers as well as negotiations with subcontractors and vendors.
You will ensure the following: -
Provision of timely and accurate equipment supply costs
Electrical or equivalent degree
Design and for both new equipment projects and retrofit projects
Continuous improvement of work processes with the aim of achieving accurate, price competitive and timely estimates.
Have formal qualifications in power engineering and extensive experience in cost estimation
Worked on large scale engineering for projects of up to $500M.
Involved in the supply in the construction of equipment and systems.
Experience in the power substation, transmission or similar industry will be highly regarded.
