Contribute to the new Civil Design structure

Senior role working as a Civil Design Contractor, responsible for providing advice and support regarding the implementation and development of the new Civil Design structure. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the largest infrastructure providers in Australia.

Working closely with the head of Civil Design this is an important role providing support and advice regarding the implementation and development of the new Civil design Structure. You will also be required to evaluate existing design processes to identify gaps and provide recommendations for improvement opportunities.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

Previous rail industry experience

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering/Design or a relevant area

Previous experience in leading and manage a team of Engineers and Designers, in the delivery of complex multi-disciplinary Track engineering design projects.

Extensive experience in the design, construction and maintenance of relevant Civil infrastructure and related assets within an Engineering Consultancy firm

Demonstrated experience in the review and improvement of Civil design processes

An understanding of risk assessment; design principles and a OH&S focus within a rail environment

Demonstrated ability to evaluate technical feasibility studies, including the provision of broad costing, risk analysis, design analysis, and cost to benefit analysis to facilitate capital works priorities.
