An international consulting firm with a great presence across multiple industries is looking to strengthen their WA mining & metals division. The company provides innovative and cost effective solutions to their clients from mine concept to closure. The company has grown through providing exceptional results, sound management practices and strong values. Due to continued growth we are currently seeking a Principal Mining Engineer for their Perth office.

This role will see the incumbent performing a mix of work including but not limited to project management, technical engineering and business development. This is a diverse role and will allow the successful applicant to take ownership of the role. As a Principal Mining Engineer you will be reporting to the Group Manager in Perth and will enjoy working in a senior, autonomous and rewarding position.

To be in consideration you will require:

A background in Mine EngineeringExperience in open cut or underground mining (15+ years)Business acumen & previous experience within consulting will be highly regardedStrong technical skillsInterpersonal and sound communication skillsThis position offers a rewarding career path for an experienced mining professional. You will take pleasure in working amongst reputable peers as part of a team but also having the ability to lead the business where you like. There will be a competitive package negotiated during the interview.
