Our client provides global environmental and health & safety services to the public and private sectors with a focus on energy, government, mining, property, transportation and water sectors.

Due to continuous growth, our client is seeking an experienced Environmental Planner to join their successful team in Newcastle.

Your background will include;

Sound understanding of the full suite of NSW environmental and planning legislation Ability to successfully manage complex environmental assessment projects involving multi-disciplinary project teams Ability to lead liaison with government stakeholders and local communities to achieve successful outcomes Ability to proactively resolve technical issues using sound analytical and problem solving skills Ability to prepare and manage winning tender proposals Ability to mentor and professionally develop junior staff Excellent client management skills
Exposure to oil & gas, mining, energy, infrastructure, ports and Defence projects would also be an advantage.
