As the Production Foreman you will comply with Fatal Risk Control Standards and the requirements of the disciplinary code. Having a strong desire to achieve Excellence you will demonstrate a record of uncompromised values of Safety and the Environment, Integrity, High Performance, Win-win Relationships, the Courage to Lead Change and Respect for each other. High energy and action bias that is contagious and brings out the best in others in order to ensure the achievement of set targets.

The purpose of your role will be to supervise safe and cost effective production and executing of all opencast drill and blast mining activities at an operational/tactical management level.

Serious contenders will have a N3 and a relevant Blasting Certificate. Computer Literacy, a minimum of 3 years experience in the mining environment as well as experience in Mining Methods, Surveying, Rock Engineering and Geology are essential for further consideration. Having a National Diploma in Mining and 2 years supervisory experience will be desirable for this role. A code EB driver’s license and your ability to obtain a valid medical certificate will be essential for success.
