Low Bed Operator
Klipspruit Colliery, Ogies, Mpumalanga

An exciting and rewarding opportunity exists for a quality orientated individual to join the Klipspruit team as a Low Bed Operator In this role you will need to ensure compliance with BHP Billiton commitment to Zero Harm. If you can demonstrate superior interpersonal skills and a passion to achieve, you will have an opportunity to perform.

As a successful candidate your role will be to safely and efficiently transport equipment on the Low Bed within the pit area ensuring compliance to all related policies and procedures.

Serious contenders will have a Grade12/N3 with English and Maths or Science coupled with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in an opencast mining environment. Having solid working experience in operating surface mobile equipment, a Caterpillar 777 Low Bed horse licence, a driver’s licence and the ability to obtain a medical fitness certificate are essential for further consideration.
