BHP Billiton Worsley Alumina is the joint venture operation of BHP Billiton, Japan Alumina Associates and Sojitz Alumina. As a member of the world’s largest diversified resources company, Worsley manages a bauxite mine and alumina refinery in Western Australia’s South West and offers candidates an enviable choice of lifestyle, based in the state’s picturesque South West.

Key responsibilities of the Warehouse Officer role include receiving, binning and issuing a variety of equipment and materials, managing the storage of materials along with responsibility for the accuracy and safekeeping of the inventory stored in the company’s warehouses. Furthermore, you will maintain a high level of service to internal and external customers whilst identifying improvements to the warehouse and logistics functions.

The successful applicant will, ideally have several years’ experience in the warehousing function of a medium to large organisation. The applicant will also possess a HR class-driving license and have a current forklift operator’s license.

Computer literacy is a desirable pre-requisite of this position and experience with SAP and Microsoft Office products will be a distinct advantage.
