Base yourself in a beautiful residential country location just over 3 hours from the NSW coast / Monday to Friday roster / Excellent career opportunities / Attractive remuneration package.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Mining Engineer to become part this reputable Austrailan Mining operation in Australia. In this integral role, you will become a key player in the technical services team and provide expert direction on the development, operational and future planning of this large truck and excavator open cut mine. Reporting to the Senior Mining Engineer, you will be responsible for the short term mine planning, mine designs, drill & blast design & coordination and mine optimisation. Being in the start up phase of this operation, you will provide troubleshooting solutions across a variety of operational and production challenges.
To be successful in this role you will be a degree qualified Mining Engineer and you will ideally possess:
Solid knowledge of open cut mine production and scheduling, preferably coal.
Exposure to D&B Engineering & Contractor Management
Excellent time management skills.
A strong safety focus.
High level of competency with Mine Planning/Design Software such as Vulcan or Surpac/XPAC etc
