Our client is an international mining company focused on developing and operating mineral resource projects worldwide. Their mine in Guinea has an annual production rate target of 380,000 to 420,000 ounces. They have an immediate vacancy for an experienced trade qualified Boilermaker Supervisor to assist with maintenance activities at their Guinea gold operation in West Africa.
You will be responsible for the following:
Assisting with the supervision and training of a National workforce in fixed plant maintenance activities
Supervising the workshop including -
equipment spare parts preparing Safe Work Procedures preventative maintenance service schedules
Planning daily maintenance, shutdowns and prioritising breakdowns to the gold processing plant
To be considered for this role it is essential that you possess the following:
Boilermaker Trade Qualification
A minimum of 8 years post trade experience
A minimum of 3 years supervisory experience
A minimum of 5 years within a mineral processing environment
Good experience and knowledge of the milling and thickener areas of a CIL gold processing plant
This position will operate off a 9 x 4 weeks FIFO roster with flights back to major points of hire. Other benefits include accommodation, messing and medical. An attractive remuneration package is on offer including bonuses.
