We are partnered with one of Australia's largest industrial manufacturing companies. Based at their plant in Brisbane's Southside, they require an experienced Maintenance Planner on an ongoing contract basis, with the possibility of the position going permanent for the right person.

Working days Monday to Friday + overtime, the primary focus of this position is to provide a maintenance planning function to the necessary departments by planning and scheduling all maintenance work in an efficient and cost effective manner.

To be successful in this role the ideal candidate will have:

Demonstrated commitment to safety in the work environment A minimum of 1 year of experience in planning function or similar role Knowledge of supply functions dealing with supply contracts, stock control and purchasing Knowledge of maintenance planning principles and procedures and computerised maintenance planning systems Trade qualifications in an engineering discipline Supervisory qualifications and/or experience Formal qualifications in maintenance management, preventative maintenance or planning processes Experience in manufacturing and/or a mining environment Experience in using computerised maintenance management systems Computer literate with knowledge of spreadsheets, database scheduling and word processing applications Able to work in both an hands on and an office environment The successful applicant will have excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills and be a self starter.
