Whole of Project Life scope $Multi-million Aquatic Centre staged building upgrade Challenging rare opportunity, excellent work/family balanceThe Whitehorse City Council requires a highly talented and accomplished professional for a three year fixed contract as a Project Director to manage a high profile construction project. You will be responsible for the whole of life project management, from initial planning and appointing an architect and engineering consultancies, through construction and head contractor management, to finalizing a facilities maintenance regime. A critical aspect of this role is community consultation and successful engagement with diverse stakeholders, and managing risk adhering to strict OH&S requirements.

Whitehorse City Council enjoys a strong reputation for its vibrant, progressive and environmentally sustainable focus, and they have won many awards in recent years for excellence. This appointment is a five day working week, and offers a rare opportunity for work/family balance for a senior role in the construction sector.

As the ideal candidate, you are a building construction project manager with at least five years experience in major multi million dollar projects, and you have proven experience in community consultation and diverse stakeholder management with exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills. As a talented, driven, ambitious and meticulous professional you also bring proven leadership capability and a high level of personal commitment and integrity. A competitive and negotiable salary package will be offered to the successful appointment.
