Equigold NL, a subsidiary of LGL, operates the Mount Rawdon Gold Mine situated near the town of Mt Perry, 100km west of Bundaberg, Queensland and mines & processes 3.5mtpa of ore with a solid mine life and exploration potential.
A challenging and rewarding opportunity exists for a Maintenance Planner - fixed and mobile plant to join our highly successful team at Mount Rawdon Gold Mine.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager the role will be responsible for:
planning and scheduling both short term and long term maintenance of fixed and mobile plant organising and managing plant shutdowns providing assistance with preparing the maintenance budget taking responsibility for the maintenance system within MIMS Ellipse
The successful applicant will have the following qualifications and skills:
Trade Qualifications in an Engineering discipline - either mechanical or electrical
Maintenance Planning experience within the resources or related industry
Exposure to MIMS Ellipse or other CMMS is a must
High level of competency with MS Office applications
Ability to communicate across various levels and work autonomously
Strong and demonstrable leadership ability
Ideally you will have a minimum of 10 years maintenance experience in mining or similar heavy industry with at least 5 years working as a maintenance planner, and will have demonstrated skills in report writing, spreadsheets, costing systems, cost control.
This role is residential in Mount Perry or district and works a 5 days on 2 days off or similar roster to meet operational requirements - specific conditions and details of the remuneration package will be discussed at interview.
