With the Sunshine State producing an abundant supply of Coal Seam Gas, global petroleum companies have started to take notice and are now investing billions of dollars into the industry. As the international economical market is fluctuating, CSG to LNG has never looked so promising with its steady growth and guaranteed demand.

To continue to meet this global requirement for methane gas, we are currently partnered with a national producer that has over $8B in capital works and that has been operating for over 50 years within the petroleum sector to assist in its next phase of its strategic growth. The immediate focus is on building upon their Geosciences team.

Reporting to the Production / Operations Geologist, you will work with the drilling supervisor to implement formal drilling plans for individual wells located in Moranbah and central Queensland.

Your proven background will consist of:
Several years of exposure to drilling and coringUpdating geological drilling dataGeology for Coal or Coal Seam Gas - Ideally Providing detailed sample logging / interpretation reportsOnsite awareness to H&S
