This specialist joint venture was formed to provide world class FEED and EPCM services for the upstream facilities for the Gorgon development. They have in the field of topsides and vessels and pipeline and sub sea engineering to form one of the largest joint ventures on the project and will be able to provide you with the most comprehensive career opportunities in the oil and gas industry.

Reporting to the Manifold and PTS Lead Engineer you will be responsible for providing support to design activities, review of Subsea Equipment Vendor (SEV) deliverables, managing changes in scope and SEV performance against the project baseline schedule.

Main duties and responsibilities will include:

* Support design activities / interfaces

* Review SEV design documentation to ensure Company requirements have been incorporated.

* Attend project SEV meetings and liaise with the SEV to expedite key decisions and design deliverables.

* Liaise with Gorgon Operations and Construction Teams (internal project stakeholders) to ensure relevant issues are captured in the design of structures.

* Prepare and document change requests and identify which changes have a cost or schedule impact.

* Review and closeout internal project design review/HAZOP actions

To become involved in this iconic project it is essential that you have the following skills and experience:

* Tertiary engineering qualifications

* 7 years minimum oil and gas sub sea engineering experience is essential

* Detail design experience in subsea structural and/or piping design.

* Some project engineering experience would be beneficial.
