HDD (Horizontal Directional Drilling Specialist)

This specialist joint venture was formed to provide world class FEED and EPCM services for the upstream facilities for the Gorgon development. They have in the field of topsides and vessels and pipeline and sub sea engineering to form one of the largest joint ventures on the project and will be able to provide you with the most comprehensive career opportunities in the oil and gas industry.

The development is isolated approximately 70-140 km offshore WA at the North West Shelf in 220 - 1,300m water depth and includes both the Gorgon and Jansz fields.

You will be responsible for the technical execution of work, the scope of engineering and construction of a pipeline shore crossing using pipeline, horizontal directional drilling, marine and diving works for the Joint Venture.

To be considered for this position it is essential that you have the following skills and experience:

Tertiary engineering qualifications

* At least 10 years experience in pipeline, horizontal directional drilling, diving and / or shallow water engineering in the Oil and Gas industry.

* Familiarity with industry recognised codes and standards is an advantage.

* The ability to translate HES objectives into execution of the works is essential.
