A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a mining engineer superintendent to join a large scale mining operation in Regional NSW.
You would be responsible for leading the team of technical personnel within an underground operation and ensuring that the operation is carried out in accordance with company standards as well as in a safe an efficient manner. You would also be responsible for the management of contractors, the coordination of budget forecasting and cost control. You will continuously want to improve the operations efficiency and be able to control planning in this unique environment.
The successful applicant will:
Be degree qualified in mining engineering
Have a strong background in mining operations including both technical and operational positions
Have experience working on large scale operations
Have experience negotiating between different operational departments
Have a solid safety record
The successful candidate will be rewarded with an attractive remuneration package and the opportunity to work in a residential position in Regional NSW.
