This is an opportunity for professional and suitably qualified Engineering Managers to join this well known international company involved in the design, manufacture and installation of railway signalling equipment and systems. The company has a strong focus on career advancement and meeting the needs of their customers. You will be responsible for the manufacture, staff supervision and cost effective manufacture of control systems. You will maintain client contact, co-ordinate purchasing, keep projects on time and to budget, and ensure company's quality standards are maintained. You need to have an engineering degree and at least 10 years experience in design and engineering on railway signaling equipment, strong leadership skills, and experience in a design for construction environment. You also need experience in preparation of tender bids, project management, commissioning, and dealing with major government and commercial clients. You are a self-starter, commercially astute, have excellent communication skills, the ability to run multi-faceted projects, strong knowledge of OH&S, are computer literate, and have managed projects of $5m and above. A salary package commensurate with experience will be offered to attract a highly desirable candidate.
