Plant Metallurgist - 6 Month Contract

Our client, a junior miner, requires a Contract Metallurgist for a period of 6 months starting in November. Initially working as a Senior Metallurgist but taking on the role of Process Manager for the latter part of the contract. The successful candidate is required to lead the Laboratory operations team in a safe and productive work environment by ensuring all work practices/ procedures meet statutory and company OHS&E and Company operational standards. The successful candidate is required to monitor metallurgical activities in the process plant and give support to the Process supervisors ensuring optimum performance and recoveries in the plant and supervisory coverage when required.

To be successful in this role you will have:

* Significant CIL experience
* Exposure to graphite shales
* Previous experience with long term shut downs
* Previous experience at Senior Metallurgist/Process Manager level

The position is based in Perth. An attractive salary will be negotiated with the right candidate during an interview.
