Lead Civil Engineer

Our highly regarded client is a progressive and dynamic project management and engineering services company operating in the resource and infrastructure industries. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Lead Civil Engineer to support significant projects.

Based in Perth, and reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be working within a team to provide technical support under general supervision in relation to design, materials handling and engineering services of the civil engineering projects.

As such your duties and responsibilities will include to:

* Ensure all civil engineering project work complies with statutory and regulatory requirements and company policies and practices.
* Prepare preliminary and detailed designs, specifications and documentation for all civil engineering project work and ensures project work complies with conditions and parameters set out in project scope of works.
* Leads a team of design engineers to develop design inputs and concept into completed design deliverables.

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate MUST have:

* A minimum of 10 years' experience in design, engineering and commissioning of civil engineering projects.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering.
* Demonstrated commercial acumen in the engineering and construction environment
