* Newly created expat Exploration Geologist position
* Exciting and challenging role

An ASX listed Australian gold explorer with a solid project portfolio and a defined 1moz deposit has a newly created role for an Exploration Geologist in East Africa. Reporting to the Exploration Manager, you will be responsible for managing an extensive diamond drill program, training local geologists, regional mapping and target generation.

Accommodation will mostly be in remote exploration camps with occasional breaks to the country's capital city and a FIFO roster from point of hire will be arranged on a 3 month on 1 month off basis. You will work 2-3 swings on this roster to complete the projects - there may be ongoing work past this. A tax free salary is achievable with this position.

To be successful in this role you will require a Geology degree with a minimum of 3 years exploration experience in the field. Ideally you will have spent a significant amount of time logging diamond core and be experienced with core orientation and the Ezy-mark system. Exposure to rugged terrains, regional gold exploration and prior expat experience will be highly regarded.
