Senior Project Engineer to lead a team of more junior engineers in the engineering delivery of projects to time, cost and quality or in the management of small projects.
The role will involve carrying out commissioning activities at client site as required, to ensure successful engineering handover. Specifying and procuring equipment to meet requirements. Proactively generating value adding options within projects to offer to clients. Planning and prioritising own work and that of more junior staff so that deadlines are met.
Our client is looking for a degree qualified Engineer with substantial relevant experience, typically at least 8 years of experience in relevant project design work. Team leadership capability, basic project management skills. Desirable: A Professionally qualified (e.g. Chartered) Engineer, experience in a contracting environment, relevant site experience and experience of working at an oil refinery.
The position will be based in Wales.
