We have an exceptional opportunity for a Mine Surveyor within one of our top clients. The company has a number of successful, operating mines and a strong presence within the WA mining sector. They have been a long-term client of HAYS - Resources & Mining and focus on the recruitment of passionate individuals who are looking for 'career' opportunities.
The Mine Surveyor position will work within one of their underground sites and will report to a highly experienced Senior Mine Surveyor. You will take an active role in completing all survey functions for a complex underground deposit, as well as assisting with various surface requirements, including their near-mine exploration group. The role will require you to work independently on a day-to-day basis, however, there will be significant support & training from the experienced on-site team.
To be considered for this opportunity, it is essential that you offer recent experience in a Mine Surveyor position, either underground or surface. You will also need to offer the following:
Proven experience with monthly pick-ups/reporting
Exposure to Leica, Surpac & Access
Management of stock-piles and ore movements
Grade 2 Authorisation (not essential)
This role is open to those working within both open-pit or underground environments and will provide a salary in the vicinity of $90K - $110K + Super on a FIFO roster. You will also benefit from formal and 'on the job' training from your experienced Survey & Tech Services team.
