An opportunity exists for a Targeting Geologist for their Africa Operation. Reporting to the Exploration Manager this person will be fire walled from the day to day exploration operations and will concentrate on mining their existing database.
To be successful in this role you will have:
10 + years experience in gold mining and exploration
Datamine and/or Micromine experience (essential)
French language (desirable)
Good attitude towards Africa and the culture
Strong commitment to Safety
The successful candidate would also get involved with looking at possible JV's and although not involved in negotiation would be in technical contact with the potential partners.
This position is offered on a FIFO roster. On site the candidate will work 5 ½ day week.
