SENIOR ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR

Join this major electrical contracting company. Senior level role preparing estimates and submissions for major customers in the construction sector

* Electrical Contracting and Data Cabling Experience Essential

This is an opportunity for professional and a suitably qualified Senior Estimator to join this well known Australian company involved in electrical contracting and data cabling. The company has a strong focus on career advancement and meeting the needs of their customers.

You will be responsible for the preparation of formal estimates and submissions in response to projects for key customers. You will liaise with suppliers and subcontractors, review current processes and suggest improvements, liaise with management and project teams, and maintain a records library for post-submission follow up and reference.
To be successful in the role you need to be trade or tertiary qualified in an electrical discipline, have 5-10 years estimating experience in electrical contracting, and an extensive background in construction or industrial projects. You also need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience in working in a small team, and good computer skills with MS Office (Excel and Project). If you are experienced senior Estimator with a background in electrical contracting and want to take your career to the next level, this role will offer the potential to advance to Estimating Manager.
