Principal Power Design Consultant/Manager- Power projects : Sydney based

Leading Infrastructure consultancies Power group have a number of challenging power generation and new energy alliance projects and are seeking a Construction manager to become Principal. They require someone who has successfully completed the construction and necessary documentation and management of related for Power Generation and substation transmission projects for high value engineering/construction contracts. They are seeking preferably someone who has experience working effectively with a similar power team, able to travel and accomplish campany organisational goals. While taking actions that respect there clients and company needs and the contribution of others in the effective construction of these key projects, wjo has previous experience in doing so in the power generation or similar industries fields- as this is needed to be a part of there groups future success

Currently they require experienced self motivated Construction Manager with some of the following: -

* Strong understanding of large and complex turn - key plants
* Manage Subcontractors, Suppliers, Construction and Operations Staff
* Degree - Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
* 10 min years experience in design, construct and commissioning of Power projects
* Power Generation, Project Management and OHS & E Training
* Good liasion skills with team, senior management and clients, also computer skill
* Develop and planning and management of the Construction to handover
* Responsible for assocaited documentation
* Quality with attention to Detail and Safety Awareness
