Mt Arthur Coal Expansion - Mining Logistics Dispatcher

Situated near Muswellbrook in the picturesque Upper Hunter Valley, the Mt Arthur Coal mine is an open cut thermal coal operation that is currently expanding to produce 20 million tonnes annually.

We are seeking an experienced Mining Logistics Dispatcher who has previously worked with Modular Mining software in large open cut mining operations.

You will support the Supervisor/Open Cut Examiner and workforce to achieve and exceed safety and production targets through the efficient use of the modular mining system.

You will also provide relief for dispatchers who are working on roster during periods of annual leave, training and other absences. During the intervening periods, you will be supporting the administration of the modular mining system.

The role will be challenging and require working on roster as well as additional work outside of the regular roster.

Demonstrated prior working knowledge of modular mining software, strong communication skills, the ability to solve problems and make decisions, and work effectively as part of a team are essential.
