Situated near Muswellbrook in the picturesque Upper Hunter Valley, the Mt Arthur Coal mine is an open cut thermal coal operation that is currently expanding to produce 20 million tonnes annually.

Mt Arthur Coal is seeking experienced Plant Mechanic/Heavy Equipment Fitters who will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of a range of equipment including rope shovels, hydraulic excavators, front end loaders, drills, trucks, dozers, graders and other forms of heavy machinery.

The successful applicants will

* have mechanical trade qualifications
* be experienced in the maintenance & servicing of heavy earthmoving equipment
* be highly motivated and diligent
* have a genuine commitment to safety and our goal of zero harm
* work in an environmentally responsible manner
* be able to work in a team environment
* be prepared to work towards mutual goals to improve productivity and efficiency
* work in accordance with the Mt Arthur Coal Workplace Agreement.

Mt Arthur operates various rosters including 7 day roster, dayshift and afternoon shift.
