Our Client is a London listed junior gold miner with an operating gold mine in Asia. The company is looking to hire an AUTO ELECTRICIAN, ideally from SE Asia to make logistics and movement to site simpler.
** Candidates must be time-served, technician or graduate auto-electricians, possibly with light-current (PLC, SCADA) experience;
** You must have worked in a Mining/ Heavy Engineering Environment for at least 5-years;
** You must have experience of working with equipment up to 3.3kv associated with underground mining and earthmoving equipment (water, pulp & paper, mineral process and petrochemical will be suitable experience environments), such as Winders, Pumps, Fans, Crushers, Mills, Conveyors, LHDs, Tamrock, Drillls, etc.;
** The successful applicant must have underground mining or tunneling work experience;
** Must be self motivated, and be able to work easily as part of a team or alone with minimal supervision, if required.
The company is offering a three year contract with a months leave on the completion of a year then on the anniversary of each tour. Flights paid for from Asia to the minesite in SE Asia and return. Accommodation supplied, salary US$ 2500 per month and all local taxes paid by company plus a share option scheme. You would be responsible for your food as the country of operations has good infrastructure and amenities.
