Medium sized Melbourne based Engineering Business is seeking a suitably qualified Engineer preferably in the Civil Engineering discipline with 3 to 5 years experience in design and / or construction industry preferably within the building sector.

This consultancy is predominate designer, manufacturer and supplier to the Australian Civil and Building industry of Expansion Joint and Structural Bearing Systems. The appointed Engineer will be involved predominately with the Expansion Joint sector of the business activities and will need to be able to undertake all commercial and engineering aspects, including customer visits, on-site attendances and site installation activity supervision.

Appointee must be willing to travel interstate but will predominantly be based within Melbourne and must and be of suitable acumen to represent the SME at meetings with Structural Designers, Road Authority Engineers and Construction Site personnel at a professional Engineering level.

The intent of the position is to enable growth of the appointee into management of the product sector within the businesses activities, with total ultimate responsibilities for all commercial, engineering and sales outcomes of the product sector.
