We are currently partnered with a global leading specialist consultancy with over 20 years experience providing a comprehensive range of technical consulting services and independent advice to exploration and mining companies, as well as legal and financial institutions.

This specialist role requires a senior professional to assist in managing and growing the Coal consulting services from the companies Brisbane office. You will work within this successful coal team with its extensive capabilities in exploration, resource and reserve estimation, mining and geotechnical engineering, reconciliation and project valuation.

Suitable candidates will have extensive experience in Australian coal mining operations, ideally complemented by significant off-shore industry experience. They will be well regarded by the industry, have a significant professional standing and possess a commitment to generating opportunities that add significant value to the company and its client base.

You will be required to possess:

* Tertiary qualified in Mine Engineering
* Considerable coal experience
* Excellent software skills
* A strong dedication to team work
* Excellent communication and report writing capabilities

This is a Brisbane based position that offers a great mix of field and office based work. It is the ideal opportunity to achieve and maintain the much sort after work-life balance. You will also have the opportunity to travel and liaise with colleagues across the globe.
