The client is a local Queensland owned and run family business that has been constructing projects for over 50 years, the majority of their business is within complex civil structures and the associated earthworks. These can range from substations, platforms, pump stations and treatment plants.

At present there is a requirement for a Contract Quality Assurance Engineer to be based out on site on a 11 on 3 off roster and is the site is a driveable distance from Brisbane. You will be paid on an hourly rate (negotiated on experience) for the duration of the project, reimbursed for travel, then dependant on performance you will have the opportunity to go on a full time salary with this stable local contractor.

The successful applicant will ideally have:

Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent.
Previous experience working as a QA Engineer.
Sound knowledge of civil structures & associated earthworks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong documentation skills.
Excellent attention to detail.

This position requires the individual to have an excellent attention to detail and be able to maintain and report all QA documentation records to a very high standard this role is a key part to the job completing on time and to the clients high expectations.
