High Voltage Electricians / Diesel Fitters - Bowen Basin

Our client is currently seeking Expressions of Interest for Experienced Tradespersons for maintenance and repair work in the Bowen Basin region. These roles will encompass electrical and mechanical repairs and maintenance to Heavy Mining Machinery.
Required skills and experience:

* Experience in AC Electrical Drive Off Highway Trucks
* Previous experience with Heavy OEM Equipment
* Sound trouble shooting skills Mechanical and Electrical
* Previous exposure to KAL Maintenance and Operational Policies
* 24V Auto Electrical Skills
* 24V Air Conditioning Skills
* Hydraulic Troubleshooting Skills

Qualification and skills:

* Trade qualifications as Diesel Fitter or High Voltage Electricians
* Be able to communicate with customers, visitors and staff at all levels
* Must have a working knowledge local and mine specific, Environment, OH&S, and Industrial legislation
* Relevant Coal Mine licences for Forklifts, Cranes,
* Relevant Black Coal Inductions ie SGS, BMA SOPs
* Ability to analyse technical problems and suggest remedies
* Ability to read and understand Electrical and Mechanical Drawings
* Ability to work with the minimum of supervision
* Ability to work safely under pressure and meet deadlines
* Must have a motor vehicle licence
* Residential Role - Camp style accommodation

An excellent remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate depending on experience.
