Project Engineer

The Lady Annie Copper Project, currently in care and maintenance, is located 120km north of Mt Isa. We have been retained to recruit a senior Project Engineer, with substantial experience working in a remote mining and/or major infrastructure projects.
Working in co-operation with operating personnel, you will be responsible for:

* Identifying, reviewing, planning and implementing all the capital works and upgrades associated with the SX-EW processing plant and other parts of the Project, prior to the mine returning to production.
* Management of various consultants and contractors will be an essential part of the job.

Reporting to the General Manager Operations, applicants should:

* Preferably hold a Mechanical Engineering qualification, together with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Sound planning, time management and analytical abilities.

This role presents a unique opportunity for the right individual to utilize their years of knowledge and experience on this challenging assignment.

An excellent remuneration package will be negotiated commensurate with qualifications and experience.
