Senior Environmental Professional

As the economy picks up, so should your work load BUT as a Senior Professional in the planning and environmental sector, you'd want to make sure you're in a team that will facilitate rather than detract from your efforts to win and deliver this new work.

This team is all about support - Your support is a team of 15 technical environmental experts, planners and consultants under your leadership and mentoring. You support the executive team with input to strategies and opportunities.

Every consulting role has an element of both technical delivery and business development. The projects here are related to Environmental Impact Assessments and Permitting for large scale infrastructure projects. But where most firms have trouble is in the support for those ever important tender wins.

To make it easier for you, this large consulting firm have low charge out rates (but don't compromise quality) and very strong relationships with the road and rail government bodies and mining houses in NSW and QLD.

Walk through doors which have been opened by previous business development managers and take the credit for winning tenders.

This is certainly a challenging position but equally rewarding. If you score a big project, you benefit directly with commissions and bonuses unlike any other company structure.
