As a True Technical Leader, you aren’t driven toward production management.  Without considering consulting there are limited options that will stimulate you technically, and still provide management challenges.                                               Projects range from Detailed Feasibility Study at newly acquired neighboring mine site to challenging mine designs as well as project evaluations and optimisation techniques. Having had exposure to numerous mining methods and mineral commodities is a distinct advantage.   Your Role:   Newly expanded 3.8mtpa open pit development will give you control over:

• Creating and implementing mine control and mine engineering procedures, incl projects works
• Supervise and train planning/scheduling and design engineers, supervision and guidance to geotechnical engineers, geologist and surveyors
• Management and maintenance of short and long term mine planning processes for the project

Company growth plans mean that preparation is underway for production and mine numbers to double within the next year creating the opportunity to step into regional or corporate positions. Or chance or early progression with whispers of the GMs international secondment scheduled for early next year...
