Mine Planning Engineer - Surface Southeast USA

Surface Mine Planning Engineer for leading US coal producer needed to develop, expand, and support mining operations through mine planning, reserve evaluation, operations support, and special projects
Description:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in feasability studies to define effective mining methods
Equipment selection, capitol and operating cost studies
Manpower and production requirements
Prepare coal reserve estimates, develop mining plans for new and existing operations
Work as leader or team member on special projects
QUALIFICATIONS:
B.S. Mining Engineering
Competence in MS Office Suite
Experience with AutoCADD and SurvCADD
Demonstrated reliability
Dedication to meeting work goals while creating a safe work environment
