The company is a reputable Surveying company and has years of experience in the provision of surveying services in civil, construction, mining and engineering industries. The company is one of the most highly respected surveying practices in Queensland and is primarily located in the Bowen Basin specializing in the Coal mine sector

The company currently has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Surveyor to apply their extensive knowledge and leadership qualities in the provision of leading a team of Mining Surveyors.

Working on multiple projects you will be responsible for:

# Managing performance and development

# Present CAD plans of detailed surveys

# Acting as a mentor and role model

# Overall field procedures

# Ensuring projects are carried through effectively until completion

# Liaise with clients

To be successful in this role you must have:

# Experience in coal mines or excellent knowledge of mining process

# Team management skills

# Advanced knowledge of Vulcan software

# Experience in volume calculation / reporting for end of month

# Knowledge in various surveying instrumentation
