As a world-renowned service provider of engineering and construction services for Resources and Mining projects, our client has forged a peerless reputation in the marketplace. As a result of recent internal growth, they have a current requirement for a suitably experienced mechanical supervisor to work on a mining expansion project in Africa

Our client will provide tremendous site conditions and an unbeatable salary package(tax free) for this role. On top of this package they will provide business class transfers to and from site, ensuite accommodation, entertainment and meals.

Reporting directly to the construction manager on site, your key responsibilities will include the following:

Planning and organising work to meet contract time schedules
Monitor costs and identify ways to improve efficiency
Supervision of work team
Coaching team members on safety and environmental requirements and responsibilities
Provide direction to team members on quality requirements
Communicate with client representatives
To be considered for this role, you must possess at least five years experience working as a mechanical supervisor on mining construction projects. Previous experience working overseas will be favourable, however not essential to your success.
