Underground Shift Supervisor

FOX Personnel has been engaged by AGD Operations, the operators of the

Costerfield Antimony/Gold Mine to recruit for the following position. The Mine and

Mill are located In Central Victoria near the rural towns of Heathcote, Nagambie, Kilmore and within 40 minutes of the regional centre of Bendigo. The Mine is underground;

it has a three year ore reserve of 20 grams/tonne equivalent with additional resource drilled. The Mine has several additional prospective rights in the mining lease and surrounding exploration leases. Continuous exploration is budgeted for the life of the present reserve.

Reporting to the Mine Superintendent, your responsibilities will include:

• Pro-active leadership to ensure and maintain a safe working environment;

• Supervision of multi-skilled crews;

• Ensuring compliance with statutory laws,

• Company policies and procedures;

• Ensuring safe underground practices are adhered to;

• Achieving weekly production and development targets;

• Ensuring quality control of mining practices to minimize overbreak;

• Performance management and development of staff;

This is a residential role and the successful candidate will possess personal qualities of fairness, leadership and display excellent communication skills and have underground mine supervisory experience. Roster will be seven days on and seven days off.
