REFRIGERATION AND AIR CONDITIONING MECHANIC (HVAC)
Multiple Positions Available: Sparwood, BC
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll measure and lay out reference points for installation; assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components; install and maintain combined heating and cooling units; diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions, overhauling if needed; start up systems and test for leaks; perform routine servicing; and prepare work estimates for clients.
Qualifications
Requires Journeymen red seal qualification or commensurate experience. Apprentices may be considered. Must be able to interpret blueprints, drawings, diagrams and/or other specifications to determine work procedures. Requires a high school diploma; completion or progress towards a journeyman apprenticeship; and ability to learn and retain skill training, operational and safety procedures.
