Electrical Supervisor

Our client is Western Australia’s leading supplier of quicklime and cement to the mining, agriculture and construction industries and by far the largest lime producer in Australia. Their cement products are used in civil infrastructure, commercial building projects and residential housing. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Reliability Supervisor to join their Munster operations.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager your core functions will be to provide leadership, develop and implement electrical maintenance work plans / schedules, and cost effective utilization of all maintenance related resources. A key emphasis will be to manage personnel skills development and be actively involved with the continuous reliability improvement program to ensure safe and effective utilisation of employees, equipment and facilities.
You will need to demonstrate the following skills, experience and qualifications:

Trade qualification, preferably mechanical fitting with post trade qualifications
3 - 5 years experience in a mining, manufacturing or heavy engineering role
A Grade electrical license and High Voltage switching ticket
Excellent communication, liaison, reporting and interpersonal skills
Strong leadership, team work and motivation skills
A systematic approach to safety, risk management and continuous improvement
