SRK Consulting (Russia) Limited is the largest international mining consultant in Russia and the CIS and, since the office opened in 2006, has grown to a team of 24 full-time staff. We are looking for an individual to take a leading role in an emerging market to assist with the development of a team of Russian Environmental Scientists in Moscow, either as a full-time employee, or on a short-term contract basis. The range of work undertaken includes environmental and social impact assessments, management planning, due diligence, auditing and reporting.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate experience in compiling and delivering environmental and social impact assessments to meet international requirements, preparation of environmental and social management plans (including closure), undertaking environmental audits, interacting with project engineering (feasibility) studies and environmental costing.

In addition to managing the technical issues, the successful candidate will be expected to establish and maintain client relationships and lead and manage international project teams. This position therefore involves travel within Russia and overseas.

Excellent communication, technical report writing and project management skills, together with a high level of numeracy, are essential.
