You will be working with a leading client in a company that promotes ongoing training and development.

Why does the job exist?

You will coordinate your production crew by delegating tasks and shift targets in order to meet planning objectives, ensure positive communication within the crew and other departments, prepare production reports and liaise with members of staff and management to achieve successful operational outcomes. You will be responsible for the performance management of staff as required with regards to production and safety while also offering coaching and mentoring as necessary.

What skills and experience do you need?

You will be a safety focussed team leader capable of driving change and effectively managing people. This role requires solid experience working in a mine supervisory role and a thorough understanding of mining work practices. With intermediate computer skills, you will preferably have experience in JDE or Oracle operating systems; or similar.
