Our Coal Operations have current opportunities for a: Instrumentation Mechanics
Reporting to the Maintenance Foreman, Processing, the Instrumentation Mechanic is responsible for the troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of processing plant equipment. This includes DCS controls, flowmeters, weightometers, temperature sensors and density measurement devices. Knowledge of Yokogawa, Modicon and Scada systems would be an asset. Previous PLC programming and DCS experience is highly recommended. The successful candidate should possess a journeyman’s certification as an Instrumentation Mechanic. Individuals with equivalent experience or an Instrument Technician Diploma will be considered. Previous processing plant experience and familiarity with Windows based programs would be definite assets. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.
