Pelly Construction Ltd. is a privately owned and operated contract mining company based in Whitehorse, Yukon. Over the past 24 years Pelly has successfully completed many substantial earth moving projects, mine development & infrastructure, environmental reclamation projects, as well as an isolated airstrip and port facility in Rothera, Antartica.
Pelly Construction has the following position currently open at our Brule Mine Site, located near Chetwynd B.C. Point of Hire is Chetwynd, British Columbia.
All positions require previous experience. Open pit mining experience is an asset.

Currently Pelly is operating two large scale open pit mining operations; at the Minto Copper Mine in the Yukon and Brule Coal Mine in Northern B.C. We operate a diverse fleet of heavy mining and construction equipment, including a Hitachi 8000 Shovel and a fleet of Caterpillar rock trucks, dozers, graders, loaders and excavators. Pelly employs over 350 personnel from across Canada.
Our rotational schedule is 20 days on with 10 days off. Daily working hours range from 10.5 to 12 . We pay overtime rate after 8 hours daily and 40 hours weekly. We pay double time rate after 12 hours daily. Meals and Accommodations are included.
