Our client is the largest engineering company on the South Coast priding themselves on providing value added service to its many clients across a wide variety of projects and disciplines.

Structural/Civil designers are currently required who will form part of their Engineering team, providing engineering services and field support to one of their major clients within the mining industry. Site based, you will work with the lead structural engineers to develop solutions in all areas of the plant and for various systems including conveying systems, materials handling equipment, piping, hydraulics and metals processing just to name a few.

You will need solid design/drafting abilities with the use of AutoCAD and experience either contracting or working in a consultancy environment within the mining industry, a current knowledge of industry and regulatory standards and a willingness to take on further responsibilities and look for continuous improvement. Excellent communication, interpersonal, planning & organisation skills are a requirement backed with enthusiasm, confidence, determination and an entrenched safety awareness.
