Aslan Human Resources is a specialist recruitment consultancy servicing the Engineering, Construction, Mining and resources sectors.

Our client is a dynamic Global Engineering and Construction company that for over 25 years has undertaken projects in Oil and Gas, Petroleum and Chemical, Mining and Metals, Infrastructure and Power.

On behalf of our client, we are currently looking for their Mackay office:

Senior Electrical Engineer:

• Perform Electrical engineering design duties
• Duties will include equipment selection and specification, detail design in collaboration with designers and bid evaluation/ vendor document review and approval.
• Direct and coordinating the specialist electrical engineering and drafting design team.
• Liaise with other project disciplines

Essential Skills/Experience

• 8 Years plus experience in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong technical background in either Electrical or Instrument Engineering (with knowledge of the other discipline).
• Working knowledge codes and standards.
• Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate performance as a team leader desirable.

Power System Electrical Engineer:

• Electrical degree
• High voltage and low voltage distribution design
• PLC and SCADA programming experience
• CAD experience with PTW power system modelling software
• Materials handling in coal mining, base metals, sugar or other similar heavy industry
• 10+ years experience
• Earthing designs in heavy industrial environments
• Experience on large industrial sites

Positions are based in Mackay. You will need to relocate there if you are the successful applicant – a relocation package would be offer.
